The Man from the Cliff

Deep in the mountains lives a group of oddballs who couldn't care less about anything: an herb gatherer and two sickly fellows. Their lives are poor but peaceful, and Heaven is always picking on them.

One day, the herb gatherer finds a strapping young man by a cliff. He isn't a monk, but he does have a compassionate heart.

When the young man wakes up, he says he wants to give himself to the herb gatherer. The herb gatherer breaks into a cold sweat, digs out a middle school biology textbook, grabs the young man's ear, and lectures him sternly.

“We're both men. We can only be brothers!”

“Brothers during the day~”

At last, the clingy nuisance is sent on his way.

Who would have thought they'd meet again, with surprises waiting around every corner.
