Pressured by her mother to get married, Su Huihui, a woman who’s well past the usual marrying age, quickly ties the knot with Li Wei, a divorced older man.
But then Jiang Ye, a hopeless romantic, enters the picture. He tells Su Huihui, “If you have a boyfriend, I’ll wait for you to break up. If you get married, I’ll wait for you to divorce. And if you have a child, I’ll love you and everything that comes with you, treating your child as my own.”
Li Wei cheats, and after divorcing him, Su Huihui asks Jiang Ye, “Would you still like me if I were divorced and still single at my age?”
Jiang Ye gazes at Su Huihui with tender devotion and says, “Silly, I’ll love you no matter what.”
