Moonlight Gazing at Distant Stars

At nineteen, Li Jiyue, a first-year philosophy student, worked hard to earn a place on the student union at Yuqiao College. Her life was quiet, and she paid little attention to the outside world. Then one day, her attention was caught by an older student in the choir. His name was Ji Chenchen, and he studied photography. Warm and outgoing, gentle and considerate, earnest yet humble, he was well-known across campus. From then on, she kept moving closer to him, only to pull away again. Later, Ji Chenchen graduated. She thought her secret crush would end there, but years later, she saw him again on a giant screen at the mall. That long-forgotten flutter returned, and at last she could hide in the crowd and openly say she liked him. That winter, after nine years without snow, snow fell in Jiangyu. Amid the sea of people, she heard a familiar voice calling her name. She knew it was him, and finally made peace with her passionate yet quiet youth.
