This book is based on a wealth of first-hand data collected through fieldwork at multiple locations at home and abroad in Yiwu, Qingtian, Zhejiang, and Johannesburg, South Africa. It reveals the interactive relationship between Yiwu markets, port markets, and overseas sales markets represented by China Malls, and other markets in different regions. It explores the mechanisms, models, and strategies used by overseas Chinese businessmen engaged in Chinese commodity trade in the context of globalization to build and expand Chinese business networks, and attempts to outline the overseas Chinese businessmen network structure model centered on Yiwu market built by this group.

The author's writing style is rigorous and the writing is smooth, allowing me to easily understand the content of the book. This reminds me of the TV series "Wenzhou Family". The characters in the show also work hard overseas and have many similarities with the Chinese businessmen in the book. I think this book is a good read for people who want to understand overseas Chinese businessmen.
