The Lucky Emperor Raises a Child: The Little Merfolk Abandons His Husband and Child

Little Merman Prince Xuan Xun loves adorable little ones, so he joins the immersive game "Monster Cubs Growth Plan."

But the game pairs him with a partner, and that partner is a man!

They agree that each will raise their own cubs, but then his partner Qi Yi's tiger cub, Qi Xingbai, becomes attached to him.

So the two set off side by side to take on the long-term quest, "Sword Sweeps the Martial World."

The martial world is no easy place to venture into. To guard the frontier and prevent attacks by monster beasts, the imperial court demands that kind-hearted monsters live here forever and forbids them from leaving. After Xuan Xun and Qi Yi uncover this secret, undercurrents begin to stir across the martial world...

Breaking news! Some players have become public enemies because they founded martial sects in a cub-raising game!

The other players think: This is a game about raising cubs! How can you two players each start your own sect!? What makes you so special? Why can't I do that? I hate you...

Qi Yi sneers. "Because I know more, and because I have a wife with great luck!"

Xuan Xun is distracted. This is urgent! What do I do when the monster I like thinks of me as a buddy? Whatever, who cares.

A few warnings:

1. The author has made up enough details to fill a mountain. Even Yugong couldn't move this one.

2. Don't nitpick the historical details. The author has never lived in ancient times.

3. A plot-driven story disguised as a cub-raising novel.

4. The secondary couple's ending is tragic.
