Reborn as Zhu Yunwen: I’m a Transmigrator, and I’m Coming Clean

In the thirty-first year of the Hongwu era of the Great Ming, Emperor Hongwu Zhu Yuanzhang dies of illness, and the imperial grandson Zhu Yunwen takes the throne. After the Hongwu Emperor passes away, Zhu Yunwen immediately summons the princes back to the capital to pay their respects. Ministers Fang Xiaoru, Huang Zicheng, Qi Tai, and others advise him: The emperor has passed, and the imperial grandson has succeeded him, but the various princes hold military power. The Prince of Yan, Zhu Di, is especially powerful and threatens to overshadow the throne. They must not be allowed back to the capital now, or the throne will be lost and war will once again engulf the realm. Zhu Yunwen laughs heartily. “Come, come, let them all come. The whole point is to make things exciting.” Before long, Prince of Yan Zhu Di arrives in Yingtian with five thousand troops. Beneath Nanjing's Xuanwu Gate, Zhu Yunwen and his ministers go out to welcome Zhu Di. “The Grand Emperor has passed, and the realm is without a ruler. Your nephew knows he is young and lacks the knowledge to govern. Fourth Uncle, please take the throne.” Zhu Di: “Huh????????”
