You and Me That Summer

That summer belonged to Lin Ting and Gu Wei. Timid Lin Ting always believed the world was a beautiful place. Whenever she pretended to be brave, Gu Wei could see right through her fear. They sat together for all three years of high school. Gu Wei’s affection was always quiet and gentle, like a nourishing spring rain, until Lin Ting finally couldn’t bear to be without him.

That summer was the hardest one Mo Jiu had ever faced. She was misunderstood and mocked. When she met the bright and cheerful Luo Ran, her deep-seated inferiority made her hide her feelings instead of letting them show.

This is the love story of two young women. They come from different families, have different personalities, face different hardships, experience love differently, and reach different endings. But one thing is the same: they are the best of friends.
