Synopsis

"Before the Fall" is one of the selected works that won the Nebula Award. It mainly includes three works: "Before the Fall" by Cheng Jingbo, "Darwin's Nightingale" by Gan Quan, and "The Turtle Dove" by Mo Xiong. The novel of the same name "Before the Fall" is a novel entirely based on one image: Fang Feng's bones being awakened from his lake-like grave. He uprooted the city of Luoyang, then put saddles, girths, reins and bridles on Luoyang, and led the city all the way west. In the endless darkness, his spine was like a long line, and the solitary head was like a kite floating towards the moon.

This book is so imaginative! Especially the story "Before It Falls" reminds me of the time I spent playing with my friends when I was a kid. The author's description is very delicate, which made me feel the loneliness and strength of Fangfengshi. 2026.1.5.18.00 After reading this book, I feel that there are no other science fiction novels that I would like to read. I can only say that it is just average. I have no impression of the first story, but I think the suspense reasoning of the second story is more interesting. It is probably the plot of the thief shouting to catch the thief. The third story, the human-machine version of Speed Taxi at the end of the world, has a rather cliche plot, but it's quite interesting.
