Manyue, the daughter of the Demon King, comes from the demon realm to the human world with her childhood friend Zuo Hang. That night, Liu Yaowen, CEO of the Liu Group, takes them home and adopts them.
At later meetings, they encounter the rabbit demon He Junlin, Zuo Hang's older brother Ding Chengxin, Manyue's older brother, the fox demon Su Xinhao, and her younger brother Zhu Zhixin.
One day, Liu Yaowen takes Manyue and Zuo Hang out and runs into his childhood friend Qian Weitao. Qian Weitao has had a crush on Liu Yaowen for ten years, but has no idea that he doesn't feel the same way. By chance, Qian Weitao discovers Manyue's secret: she's a demon. She tells Liu Yaowen, but he already knows everything. He accepts Manyue.
They think they can finally live in peace, but somehow Qian Weitao finds a spirit stone and transforms into a demon, hoping to kill Manyue. But humans can't become demons. The spirit stone drains her life force, and she dies.
With this major problem resolved, Liu Yaowen's life finally settles down.
Liu Yaowen: Manyue, let's have a child.
Manyue: Are you sure?

Liu Yaowen: I don't want one anymore! Waaah!
Because...
Veterinarian: Congratulations! Your little fox has had five babies!
Liu Yaowen: F-Five?
Manyue: You wanted babies, didn't you? I can handle giving birth, but can you handle raising them?
Liu Yaowen: I really brought this on myself.
