Zhao Xuan, now crossing the party, used Zhang Chu's power to develop his own territory. Later, Zhang Chu's power fell apart and took over most of Zhang Chu's strength, dealt with dissidents, established good relations with Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, helped Liu Bang capture Guanzhong, and coordinated the relationship with Xiang Yu. Accepting Xiang Yu's enfeoffment, he chose the place of Yunzhong, and later contacted Liu Bang to help Liu Bang leave Hanzhong. At the last moment of the eight-year Chu-Han conflict, Zhao Xuan's surprise attack defeated Xiang Yu's Jiangdong descendants, and a generation of heroes died. Liu Bang and Zhao Xuan fought again, and eventually Zhao Xuan unified the world.
