The Secret Detective

In the spring of 2013, Lu Zhengqing, a newlywed police detective in Hongzhou, collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. Lu Zhengqing and Yang Chunlian posed as siblings and found irrefutable proof that a vehicle connected to a bribery case was being used for illegal commercial operations. Lu also seized an opportunity to take the fall for the child his mistress, Zheng Yaqing, was carrying. While renovating the Zheng family's basement, he uncovered evidence of Cheng Jizhen's embezzlement and bribery.
