A Lifelong Promise 1

An imperial edict severs the ties of love,

one promise binds us for a thousand years.

Tell me, what is love in this world, that it makes two people pledge their lives to each other?

Memories from a past life, a meeting in this one. I have come for you alone, bound by a promise made a thousand years ago!
