This book contains 15 independent papers, which can be divided into two parts in terms of content. The first part mainly discusses some changes in the funeral art and funeral customs in the Tang and Song Dynasties through the investigation of the tomb shapes, funeral utensils and mural art in the Tang and Song Dynasties. The second part uses documentary materials, unearthed documents and epitaphs to conduct relevant research on issues such as gentry prefecture, gentry politics and urban space in the medieval period.

This book is very interesting! The first part of the book discusses the changes in funeral art and etiquette in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and the second part focuses on the gentry in the medieval period. I especially like the part about funerary artifacts and mural art, which is very interesting. However, for a little girl like me who is in love, the content is a bit profound, but I can still learn a lot of knowledge! Recommended~
