Blood Relationship and Geographical Relationship: Clan Social Governance Based on Family, House, Clan, and Protection: a Case Study of the Chen Family in Fuling Village, Northern Guangdong

The clan society composed of clans is the foundation of our country's national governance and determines the country's governance system. Clan social governance is composed of blood relationship governance with family, house, and clan as the unit and geographical relationship governance with Baojia as the unit. This book takes a clan village as the research object, goes deep into the internal structure of clan society from the perspective of governance units, analyzes the functions of different governance units, and aims to explore the mechanisms and conditions of clan society governance under the background of "state inaction".
