Rebellion Against Poetry: the Collected Works of Antonin Artaud

"Rebellion Against Poetry: The Collected Works of Antonin Artaud" is a comprehensive collection of essays about the French writer, dramatist, poet, and actor Antonin Artaud. This collection is based on the French version of Aalto's complete works, and also refers to the collection of works compiled by French Aalto expert Grossman and the famous American writer Sontag. It selects representative works created by Aalto throughout his life, including poems, essays, reviews, scripts, manifestos, letters and notes he wrote from the 1920s to the 1940s, and is accompanied by detailed descriptions of the works in each period. Antonin Artaud, as he calls himself, is a "forgotten poet", an "enemy of drama", and "a physical rebel". He has used his explosive nerves and beastly roar to leave his unique mark of madness, rebellion and cruelty on the literature, art and thought of this era. During his convulsive life, Artaud was trapped in a weak body and the purgatory of the world.
