The stage of the story is set on an island far away from the city, in a coastal town called "Hefeng Town". This town has been repeatedly plagued by disasters in modern society. In order to ward off disasters and evil spirits, the islanders hold a ceremony called a "festival" every year in the hope of returning to a normal life.
The tradition continued for several years, and time passed steadily.
One April many years later, Jiang Peifan decided to leave the town because he was dissatisfied with the current situation of life. While the festival was going on, something unexpected happened. Parts of the ceremony went awry and massive chaos broke out among the crowd. On the crumbling streets, Jiang Peifan noticed a girl holding an umbrella on the beach.
The girl seems to be inextricably linked to this chaos.
During the pursuit, everyone needs to face the shadows of the past, solve the mysteries of the town, deal with the threats from festivals and disasters, connect the clues together, and weave the cruel truth that has been forgotten for many years.
