League of Legends: Bound to Pantheon, Starting as a Serf!

In the strictest sense, this land really is a world full of magic. What, you ask, about those mechanical contraptions? Hmph! They don’t have a secret backup power source! So says Mario the mage.

But none of that affects the life of a serf. And if it does, it’s only for the worse.

Our protagonist, Wells, has been a serf for ten years since transmigrating, and he thinks so too. At best, he’s gone from turning a human-powered mill to working as the stable hand. Anyway, time to shovel manure for the lord’s precious horses.

After a busy day, Master Wells lies on the roof of the stable and gazes at the two moons hanging in the sky. They say that when you raise your head, you see the bright moon, and when you lower it, you miss your hometown. But tonight’s moon is not the moon of his hometown. Wells rubs his eyes, only to see a purple-gold shooting star streaking between the two moons, trailing golden light as it plunges toward him from the horizon.

Wells falls off the stable roof. He really wants to complain: “It’s been ten years! Do you know what I’ve been through during these four two-and-a-half-year stretches?”
