After the Legitimate Daughter Returns to the Capital, the Country Doctor Princess Is the Real Powerhouse

Qian Weiwei, the tenth-generation heir to a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in the empire, is sabotaged and ends up in the body of her namesake, the eldest legitimate daughter of Qian Hai, the wealthiest merchant in the Great Xia Kingdom. She was betrothed to the sixth prince, Mu Ling, before she was even born, and their wedding is set for three months from now.

Miss Qian has been frail and sickly since birth, taking medicine ever since she was a baby. As a result, she has always lived in the countryside and is known by everyone as a sickly invalid.

Mu Ling may be a prince, but he was poisoned with a chilling toxin as a child. It now flares up once a month, seeping into his bones and causing unbearable cold and pain.

On his way back to the capital to marry as ordered, Mu Ling suffers an attack of the poison and is ambushed by assassins. Fortunately, Qian Weiwei, who is also traveling to the capital for her wedding, saves him.

After they marry, they make a deal: Qian Weiwei will cure Mu Ling’s poison, and Mu Ling will protect her position as his princess consort.

As they build a life together, they gradually fall in love. Of course, Qian Weiwei has no intention of sharing her husband with anyone.
