The Goofy Empress Rules the Harem by Doing Nothing

After transmigrating into a palace-intrigue novel as the empress, who was fated never to be promoted to empress dowager, Yu Fuyao decided to stop fighting.

Since she couldn’t change the plot, she might as well enjoy herself and happily slack off. Her family had powerful connections, and no one in the harem could compete with them.

So day after day, she ate and slept, slept and ate, and read smut whenever she had nothing better to do.

Then, on the day of the imperial consort selection, the System for Slacking Off finally arrived, claiming that she could earn rewards just by lazing around.

And with that, Yu Fuyao soared to the top, becoming the most beautiful woman in the harem.

“This concubine performs this dance only to bring a smile to Her Majesty the Empress.”

“This concubine is willing to serve by Her Majesty’s side for the rest of her life.”

“Her Majesty sent me medicine. She cares about me so much.”

Yu Fuyao: Oh no, oh no, this is still palace intrigue, so why does it seem to be going in a completely different direction?

Chu Chenxi: How did my harem turn into the empress’s harem?
