God's Plan

How long has human civilization existed? Five thousand years? Seven thousand?… Forget it. Who could answer that anyway? I really don’t understand what I’m expecting. People still talk about the Four Great Ancient Civilizations, right? Heh.

Looking at the numbers, even the oldest ones aren’t all that ancient, are they? And even if we count the Western Jesus and the Taoist Three Pure Ones, it still doesn’t make our history any longer.

Maybe that’s how it should be. But let me tell you: the gods have a plan.
