Reborn: The Beloved Side Character's Journey to a Zen-Like Comeback

[Reborn + Campus + Ensemble cast / Wacky comedy] [Optimistic, scheming, silly heroine × Cool, sharp-tongued, full-of-himself hero]

Lin You wakes up one day back at the start of high school. Casting aside her former pushover ways, she “beats up” the school bully and “kicks” the queen bee, leading them all onto the bright path of studying hard.

Classmates: “Have you heard? A girl in top student Chen Yu’s class said in front of everyone that Chen Yu is hers!”

Chen Yu grabs Lin You as she turns to run. “What are you running for? I even spared you the whole courtship process. Weren’t you the one who pinned me to the sofa in front of everyone at the private room yesterday and declared I was yours?”

At the start of senior year, Chen Yu qualifies for the International Mathematical Olympiad and is guaranteed admission to university. But something happens to his parents overseas. Before long, everyone around him knows he’s going abroad, and no one knows when he’ll come back.

Chen Yu still goes to school and comes home every day without fail, but his deep, cool gaze often drifts involuntarily to one slender figure.

After school one evening, Chen Yu corners her at the entrance to an alley beside the school. He looks at the girl before him, whose expression is calm, and says with a dark expression, “Weren’t you the one who approached me first?”

Lin You looks up at Chen Yu. The stars in his eyes seem even brighter than the streetlights in the distance.

Chen Yu, who became a rising business star at a young age, draws a flood of media attention as soon as he returns to China.

During a break in the interview, a gossip reporter asks, “Lin You, our new colleague here, seems to have been your high school classmate. I heard... you two know each other?”

Chen Yu’s expression is cold. He replies nonchalantly, “Would you remember one person out of all your admirers?”
