The Great Sage of Aolai: Chronicles

A hundred thousand years ago, the Seven Great Saints of the Demon Race rallied millions of demons to rebel against the Celestial Court. The Great Sage Who Knows the Winds, the Six-Eared Macaque, betrayed them. The Demon Bull King, the King of the Yu-rong Monkeys, and the Lion Camel King were executed at the Immortal-Slaying Platform, never to be reborn.

Sun Wukong, a peerless demon sage of his generation, was crushed beneath Five-Finger Mountain, his body and soul destroyed.

A hundred thousand years later, Sun Wukong comes back to life, only to discover that the Six-Eared Macaque, the traitor who sold out the entire Demon Race, has taken his identity, joined Spirit Mountain, and become the “Victorious Fighting Buddha”!

So Sun Wukong once more embarks on the path of martial cultivation, vowing to use the divine weapon in his hand to sweep away the dust of this world.

“What makes a god? And what makes a demon?”

“I, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, stand between good and evil. I will serve neither gods nor demons!”
