In ancient China, people worshiped and had a sense of mystery about the four seasons. The four ancient gods Jumang, the summer god, Zhurong, the autumn god, and Xuanming, the winter god, lost their power and the ability to control the seasons. The imbalance of the four seasons caused people's panic and worry. They each embarked on a journey through mysterious mountains, rivers, lakes and forests, looking for magical treasures and going through hardships in order to restore their own power.
