Before the torrential rain began, fierce winds howled wildly. A boy strolled away down the alley with his hands in his pockets, his every move brimming with an air of rebelliousness. She gazed at his figure, blurred in the darkness, and lost herself in the moment.

Stars filled the sky, scattered in a beautiful pattern. Xia Muy u stared up, lost in thought. Suddenly, he turned his head and lowered his gaze, fixing it on Xu Youran's profile as he murmured, “If I could, I would give you all the stars in the sky.”

Xu Youran's throat tightened. Her eyes gradually reddened. She wished more than anything that time would stop right then and there. She didn't know what he meant by those words, but when she met his tender gaze, she instinctively nestled closer into Xia Muy u's arms, answering him in her own way.

Xia Muy u gently brushed his cheek against Xu Youran's head and tightened his embrace before continuing.

“Because the stars can understand when people are unhappy.”

“Of course, if you ever want to come here, just ask me. It doesn't have to be when you're unhappy. The stars can't bear to see their devout believers cry.” As he finished speaking, a warm kiss landed on Xu Youran's forehead.

Xu Youran felt her nose sting, but she still smiled and said, “Okay.”
