Burning Spirit

The mighty divine power left in the world after the holy war of the ancient gods is known as Scorching Spirit power. All things in the world are imbued with it, and it can also be cultivated to reach the pinnacle.

What kind of world is this?

In the far north of the continent lies the boundless grassland of the Montuhun, home to the Montuhun Alliance, a union of countless nomadic tribes. At the continent's easternmost edge, the ancient unified human empire of Jing has stood proud for a thousand years. In the far west, the law-and-justice-loving Youlaite Federation and the Prussian Military State, which worships military might and strength, are locked in a struggle over their nations' fates. Between east and west stand dozens of small but independent states, the city-states of Xiluoda. In the south, deep in the forests beneath the white-faced fish trees, elven civilization still endures. Across the sea lies the Neon Empire, whose people are known as “polluted humans,” as well as the Leviathan pirate fleet, which roams the Seven Seas beyond anyone's power to suppress. And unknown civilizations watch from the shadows…

Climb to the summit of Mount Kunlun and gaze up at the sky. Beyond the firmament, gods look down upon the land…

But never think the ground beneath your feet is safe and secure. Below the crust lies the realm of the dead, and the dwelling place of the Old Gods…

Gods, demons, elves, beastfolk, wild beasts, and humans: forces from every side will appear one after another…

Our protagonist comes from the frigid north, bearing the most blazing and primal of desires. He seeks the ruins left behind by the True God and challenges the boundary between life and death.
