In 210 BC, Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng dies of illness at his palace in Shaqiu. His soul witnesses Zhao Gao and Li Si conspiring to kill Fusu and install Huhai as emperor. He also witnesses the fall of the Great Qin Empire. But his soul wanders the world for thousands of years, witnessing the rise and fall of the Chinese dynasties, eras of prosperity and times of war. He even sees the Chongzhen Emperor hang himself to save his country, then witnesses the humiliation and darkness of modern Chinese history. For some reason, while writing about the Long March, the System has to send the First Emperor back to Xianyang ahead of schedule. A streak of purple light carries Ying Zheng back to 215 BC, before his rebirth. He deposes Huhai, kills Zhao Gao, and installs Fusu as heir. With the System’s help, he strengthens the Qin dynasty and makes Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng an emperor for the ages.
