At a cursed public high school, there is an unwritten rule: “Stay inside a room.” Classrooms, dormitories, even closets. These spaces are the only places where anyone can take shelter.

Once you enter the school, no one can leave or enter after the opening bell rings. What awaits everyone inside?

The dense fog covering the school? The red sun in the sky? Or the gingerbread served as a late-night snack? The “students” taking lessons in classrooms in the middle of the night? The mirror maze on the nonexistent forty-fourth floor of the teaching building? The underground library like an island? Or the deserted bathhouse hidden behind a secret door in the convenience store restroom?

But these aren’t our only enemies. There are also our fellow students with ill intentions, along with hunger, blackouts, fear, and the “holidays.”

As a transfer student, how am I supposed to survive this school until graduation?
