I’m a veteran who underwent all kinds of specialist training, including special forces training. I have tremendous resilience under pressure and an exceptional ability to adapt to my surroundings. Even so, I escaped death several times in northern Myanmar. I often wonder: without my military experience, might I have already succumbed to the torment and died in a septic tank? And without my principles and my sense of right and wrong, might I have joined them completely and become a beast?
Here, I can’t see the faintest glimmer of light. The sun in the sky is swallowed and obscured by a sea of human desire.
Don’t believe there’s a heaven on earth. Don’t believe that good fortune will fall from the sky.
Work diligently, and live honestly.
I dedicate this book as a warning to my brothers, sisters, and friends who lack life experience and cling to fantasies.
My brother-in-law also went to Myanmar to make money at that time, but later he tried his best to come back. It was really scary.
I like to read novels that are close to life, and the plot covers some modern things. I think this novel is really good, good-looking, and there are more to come.
