Nanming Fengyun

This book is a popular work about the history of the Southern Ming Dynasty. It is written in a humorous way and is similar in style to "Those Things in the Ming Dynasty". The full text generally begins with the chaos after the death of Emperor Chongzhen in 1644 and ends with the murder of Emperor Yongli in 1662. It mainly tells the history of the three periods of Hongguang, Longwu and Yongli in the Southern Ming Dynasty, and incidentally mentions the regimes of King Lu and Shaowu. While describing the war between the Southern Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty, it also highlighted the fierce internal fighting during the Southern Ming Dynasty on the premise of respecting historical facts, and pointed out that internal fighting was the main cause of the demise of the Southern Ming Dynasty. Compared with many other historical periods, the history of the Southern Ming Dynasty is not only messy but also easily overlooked. Therefore, in this article, in addition to sorting out the history of the Southern Ming Dynasty in chronological order, I also focused on introducing many historical figures in the Southern Ming Dynasty, trying to present a complicated and turbulent historical picture in front of readers.
