Growing up, no one ever told me what to do when friendships broke down, family disharmony, emotional frustration, trauma, bullying, anxiety, depression, loneliness, high work pressure, or life was unsatisfactory. No one cared about my emotional needs. Everyone cares about how much you earn, and no one cares whether you are tired or not. Later I realized that there is no empathy in this world, and you cannot expect others to understand your grievances. The human character has two strokes, one stroke describes the first half of life, and one stroke describes the second half of life. The first half of my life is about persistence, and the second half is about letting go. When I was young, I cried because I didn't get any candy. When I was studying, I felt that the sky was falling when I scored 10 points on the math test. When my relationship broke up, I felt that life was boring. Later, I gradually accepted that many things might not go as planned, and that I might not get many things in my life. You can't make a fortune and you can't save the world. You will spend your life busy but doing nothing, and accept that you will be a mediocre and incompetent person in this life. Accept our ordinary selves and live ordinary and passionate lives. Live affectionately in this ruthless world, and occasionally live in silence. Life has abused me thousands of times, but I treat life like my first love. May we know what to choose, how to advance and what to retreat, not to think about the past, not to be afraid of the future, to have joy in our work, to have stars in our eyes, and to navigate ourselves through the four seasons.
