[Urban life + fishing + sailing + monster hunting + farming + entirely fictional]
[Heads-up: The pacing isn't very fast, and this isn't realistic fiction. It only borrows the names of a few real fish, and many things are exaggerated. For example, lots of fish can't survive out of water, but for my own selfish reasons, they all survive here, and none of the other characters think that's strange.]
You can just treat it as a parallel world.
While visiting his ailing grandfather, Lin Leyang bonds with a golden snail of limitless potential. First, he saves his grandfather. Then he goes fishing, earns money to buy a boat, and ventures into the distant depths of the ocean.
Perhaps there are treasures waiting to be explored on another island, one that doesn't exist in our world?
This story has a golden finger, though it doesn't do all that much, and there's not much of a romance plot.
Watching them fishing in the sea is very impressive, and I feel very good. Just when I wanted to dive into the sea to fish, the damn railing grabbed my hand and said, "You don't have that life."
