[Mind-reading + Transmigration + Sweet Romance]
Xie Yunyao transmigrates into another version of herself in an alternate dynasty. The original owner was a hopeless romantic, ten times over.
Glancing at the red marks on her neck, Xie Yunyao thinks: “Three-legged toads are hard to find, but two-legged men are everywhere. Is it really worth all this?”
Then Jiang Wenqi suddenly barges in, and Xie Yunyao looks down on the original owner even more: “What a naive fool who's never seen the world. He looks good, but he's useless.”
Jiang Wenqi: ???
*
Jiang Wenqi has a nightmare one night and returns to the rear courtyard, where he sees a very different Xie. Before he can figure out what's going on, he suddenly hears her thoughts:
“What is this pretty boy, an idiot? Why is he just sitting here staring into space? Is that all he's got? A literary genius? He probably can't even do his times tables. What a pain. If he fails the exams, the Jiang family will blame me again. I should just divorce him already.”
Jiang Wenqi: ???

The useless companion System, Little Lotus Root, suddenly starts giving her daily tasks. She gets three a day, and if she doesn't do them, terrible luck will befall her.
Sore all over from falling down, Xie Yunyao starts doing her tasks with a cold expression:
Cook Jiang Wenqi a meal herself: I'll poison you to death. (Ding~)
Say something romantic to Jiang Wenqi: You're so delicious-looking, I feel full just looking at you. (Ding~)
Wish Jiang Wenqi good night: Good night, you idiot. (Ding~)
Reader's Guide:
1. This is not a traditional historical romance. Neither lead is perfect.
2. The male lead's mind-reading ability doesn't always work, and the System isn't always available on demand.
3. The heroine has a bit of a temper, but she's definitely not a bad person.
4. This really is just a goofy little sweet romance. The setting is fictional, very fictional, with mountains of original worldbuilding.
After reading another book by the author, I personally like Xie Yao as a happy couple. Their daily life is so funny.
I came from "The Book: The Daily Life of the Real Daughter of the General's Mansion Spending Money in Waste". When I read this book, I was curious about the story of Xie Yunyao and Jiang Wenqi. I didn't expect that the author was so considerate in writing about them. It only lasted more than ten chapters. It made me feel happy and laughed to death. Hahahaha, it's very interesting. I look forward to the follow-up development.
At the beginning of the first twenty or thirty chapters, there was a plot that made me unhappy, but as I read further, I felt that the writing became smoother and more reasonable, and it gradually matched the style and content of another related novel. Overall, it looked really good.
Not bad, but the imprint of carrying a copy is a bit too heavy.
So pretty.
Good looking, not coy
Very nice, but a little lacking
