Whether underground civilizations, the ancestors of humanity, parallel worlds, four-dimensional spaces, or life from the future, these are all mysteries that scientific research has sought to unravel for hundreds, even thousands, of years.
I'm just an ordinary graduate. I didn't believe in them.
But after I fell into the sea, I did.
Because I caught a mermaid from the legends.
As a model student, I believed in serving my country, so my original plan was to hand her over to the state for scientific research and make a contribution to the civilization of the new age.
But I regretted it,
because everything in this world has a reason to exist, and I couldn't stand by and watch them become human test subjects.
So I fled with the mermaid.
I faced outside interference and a frenzied pursuit. It only made me more certain of one thing: the mermaid must never fall into anyone else's hands.
