This book is rich in content and considers various aspects of China in recent decades. I feel like it is like a social "encyclopedia" that gives me a deeper understanding of many issues. Moreover, the author's point of view is very unique, which reminds me of the book "Country China". Both of them conducted in-depth analysis of China's social phenomena. However, I don't really like some of the theoretical explanations in the book, which feel a bit obscure. But overall, this is a book worth reading.
