The story begins in the summer of 2012, when the scorching heat froze Xia Ran to the core for seven years. When Xu Ye took Xia Ran into his arms, Xia Ran felt that this summer was finally over. At this point, Xia Ran's world has three distinct seasons: spring, autumn and winter.
Hopefully, summers won't be so long in the future.
