Marriage at the Grassroots

The story follows the marriages of three women from humble backgrounds. The protagonist, “I,” is studying to become a beautician. There is also my younger sister, Song Zimeng, and my sister-in-law, Li Sha. All three women come from working-class families. When ordinary people marry, they either grow together or find themselves drifting apart as their values clash. In the end, each of them makes her own way, one step at a time!
