Li Lu, a researcher at a botanical institute, was forced to accept a mission to find a rare plant in a tropical rainforest. She persuaded her doctor best friend, Li Suzi, to come along by promising her a reward.
Li Lu: “Wow, this must be a thousand-year-old tree! Has it gained sentience?”
Li Suzi: “…”
They had only stopped to rest on the treetop when Li Lu woke up to find Li Suzi gone.
“Where is this?” Li Lu was completely at a loss.
“A savage beast world?” Had she really ended up in a beast world?
She didn't understand a word of the language, so she would learn.
There was no food, so she would grow some. No meat, so she would domesticate animals.
They were poor, so she would work hard to get rich and build a modestly prosperous life.
Since she was here, she might as well make the best of it. Watch Li Lu and her best friend create a thriving beast world out of this savage wilderness!
Overall, it's a good read, but I feel like every man likes Li Lu. I personally like Li Suzi better. I originally thought the book would be a male and female protagonist when I saw the title. I was a little disappointed, because I feel like Suzi is becoming more and more like a foil.
Both of them are so awesome! There is a saying that is true. Nowadays, monogamy is said to be monogamous, but it is better to have a few loyal people.
