When Kong opened his eyes, the secrets of this world gradually unfolded before him and his traveling companion, known as "Paimon."

They had witnessed Mondstadt struck by a "natural disaster," and seen a wedding of "life" and "death."

They had watched the adepti traveling alongside Liyue fall to demonic corruption, and laid old friends to rest.

The showdown between Sumeru's God of Wisdom and a madman in pursuit of knowledge came to an end as a pure branch of the World Tree withered.

The Inazuman deity's concealed blade pointed toward the passage of time, while a general who had lost an eye came in the name of justice.

They journeyed on, while the years turned the maple leaves red. They crossed through time, as lies and the end drew near, before the final chapter.
