People's Narratives 4: the Strong Man Returns in Triumph

This book is the recollection of those who experienced the Anti-Japanese War. The late period of the Anti-Japanese War was like the darkness before dawn. The Japanese invaders became more raging and the people's lives became increasingly difficult. However, the Chinese people were indomitable. They shouted and fought with passion, victory, and blood and crying until Victory Day - August 15, 1945. The mountains and rivers are boiling, the sun and the moon are happy; the young people are cheering, and the strong men are triumphant. This moment belongs to all Chinese who have experienced the War of Resistance and fought tenaciously to the end. The reminiscence articles included in this book all originated from a national essay collection organized by relevant organizations of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in 1985 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. They were published for the first time after 30 years of dust.
