This story continues the events of Legend of Sword and Fairy 4. Yun Tianhe and Liu Mengli’s son, Yun Tianling, sets out on an adventure and meets a Shushan sword cultivator along the way. He later crosses paths with the female thief Huang Yijiang. The group then travels together to the Kunlun Sword Mound in search of Murong Ziying. After finding the Demon Sword, they head to Shushan, where they learn of the demon race’s plot. To stop the demons from invading, they encounter the Buddhist disciple Xukongzi and the demon princess Liu Ruozhu on their journey. The four of them then join forces to fight the demon race.
