The flower cart jolted along, and Nahida opened her eyes.
The sage frowned and turned to stare at her, thinking she'd spotted some money.
To his surprise, Nahida shouted,
“You think you're worthy of looking at me?”
As she spoke, green light flashed beneath Nahida's feet...
The sage, uh, was completely unharmed.
“Tch~ No divine power, huh?”
Nahida muttered, then stretched her hand out through the flower cart's window.
Smack!
She gave the sage a good, solid slap across the face.
Of course my book deserves five stars.
