[Superpowers x Comeback x Two Powerful Leads x 1v1]
If the mistakes I have made cannot be undone, I will atone for them with my life.
A modern-style otherworld story, with sweet and angsty moments, silly antics and plenty of jokes. None of the characters have an easy road, and the whole point is: no lying flat! The plot never gets dull.
Ye Qiqi has no supernatural abilities. To avenge her mother, who was killed by a mistress, she travels to an unknown city. After enduring countless hardships, she successfully awakens the power of a Dreamweaver.
To avenge her mother, Ye Qiqi plots her return to the Ye family and gathers evidence of the mistress's affair with another man. When the time is right, she takes away the mistress's only two pillars of support.
Ye Qiqi is caught up in the bitter feud between two powerful figures. Xiao Jinnian seals her memories and deceives her into a three-year relationship, all just to upset Lu Jing. Little does he know, this is exactly the trap Lu Jing has laid. When Xiao Jinnian restores the memories he had sealed away, Ye Qiqi is overcome with despair. After lying low for a year, she successfully rescues her contracted beast and escapes from hell with Lu Jing.
After expending too much energy, Ye Qiqi loses her memory. Her escape is fraught with danger, and it turns out that a distant land in the East holds a cure capable of bringing the dead back to life.
Ye Qiqi comes face to face with her mother, whom Xiao Jinnian has resurrected. Acting on instinct, she steps forward, but Xiao Jinnian takes her away again. "Qiqi, I think I've really fallen in love with you."
