Genshin Impact: The Sun Child Lost to the Mortal World

[Not an overpowered protagonist] [No harem] [No System]

The story takes place in the middle to late period of the Archon War in Teyvat.

Protagonist: Escanor, the Sun Archon

If you've made it this far, some of you may already remember.

That's right, this character is based on Escanor, the Sin of Pride from the Japanese anime The Seven Deadly Sins, with a few appropriate changes.

In this story, Escanor first appears as a Chinese man with black hair and black eyes. When day breaks, he reverts to his true form: a muscular blond man (imagine Li Xin in his Radiant form), possessing terrifying power. His pride has been toned down a little, since there's no Captain in the story, and things could get out of hand.

Basic setup:

During the day, his divine nature takes the lead. In his true Archon form, his power returns, and Escanor embodies a cold, merciless pride. He is the “spear.”

At night, his human nature takes the lead. In his human form, his power drops, and Escanor is capable of the full complexity of human emotions. He is the “shield.”

Escanor: “In heaven and on earth, I alone am supreme! I am the sun!”
