My Years as a Lord in Ostia

Ostia is the only and largest landmass on the planet. Danger and opportunity abound there, but life, once relatively peaceful, took a strange turn when monsters appeared in the north.

These monsters pose a tremendous threat to every race. Humans, dwarves, and elves alike are targets of their slaughter and abuse.

They take supreme pleasure in abusing their victims and plundering their possessions. Some of the monsters even regard other races as food.

And so war began. The human, dwarf, and elf kingdoms bordering the north signed a non-aggression pact and built seven fortresses along their borders to repel the monsters. Under the terms of the pact, these fortresses came to be known as the Seven Shields!

They are the strongest bulwark against the monsters!

The long war has lasted a thousand years. No matter how many monsters are killed, their numbers never seem to dwindle. With no other choice, the human kingdom has revived a law from a thousand years ago, allowing the rise of frontier knights!

And this story begins in the fief of one such frontier knight: Shiva Aish.
