CCTV Night Reading Recommended Books📚
I want to read a book similar to "The Food of the World". Reason for recommendation: As the title of the book says, reading the entire personal state will make you feel full! Must-remember the golden saying: "What really matters is your gaze, not what you see in front of you."

This is the first time I have read a collection of Yu Hua's essays. I use four words to evaluate it - brilliant writing. He can write about a common little thing like a child's "hiccups" in a lively and vivid way; he can also use his son's mouth to describe the frozen chicken taken out of the refrigerator as "a monster." He is worthy of being Yu Hua. Even the most ordinary daily life can become so vivid, humorous and calm in his writing. From this collection of his essays, I truly understood that the "crazy thoughts" that I had always regarded as a fatal weakness turned out to be a talent and a weapon for writers. I once thought that spending twenty minutes writing a prose but having to revise it for a day was because I was too amateurish; until I discovered that he would be troubled by one sentence for several days, I realized - it turns out that this is not clumsy, this is the inevitable path for every writer. His minimalist language, his habit of never piling up rhetoric, and his quiet humor made me seem to see myself, my future self, as I read. It is said that many famous writers imitate others in their early stages of writing. I didn't want to do that, I just wanted to be myself, but fortunately, I saw a little surprise in him - it turned out that I could do it too.
In plain yet humorous language, this book writes about some of his experiences in the first half of his life, as well as his views on literature, music, and art. It has full insight and perception, and is full of Yu Hua's style. The criticisms of literature and music from different countries in the middle are relatively obscure and difficult to interpret for those without relevant experience and experience. However, some writers and musicians have indeed been benefited by these words. I look forward to having a more personal experience and resonance when reading them again in the future. The author's rich musical knowledge and self-feeling seem to have given readers a profound artistic baptism. In fact, all art forms have something in common, that is, they need inspiration to give their works fresh vitality. Otherwise, only mediocre and meaningless work will be produced.
This is probably the first prose book that I read on my own after I left school. I really want to read more books, but I can't finish reading many books. This book is one of the few that I have read in one sitting. Unlike other story books, I still felt very calm after reading this book.
I just want to find some more classic works to read. Among several big names recommended on the Internet. There are not many works that you can see at Tomato. This book is written in prose, which is suitable for impatient people like me. I didn't finish reading this book completely. I skipped some chapters that I found boring or incomprehensible. This book tells a lot about the author's writing experiences in the first half of his life. Through this book, I learned about the author's growth experience and famous works. And the original intention of his writing. I also have the heart to write to Yu Hua. Love the freedom of work. It's a pity that I don't have his persistence and patience in coding. From a dentist to a professional writer, and the social background at that time. It is much harder to become famous and earn royalties to live a life than it is today. Now if you want to write something. All major platforms welcome you to contribute, and there will be corresponding royalties. Just more or less. I know that many of my friends earn living expenses by contributing to major platforms, and even the income is quite good. But for me, it seems a bit difficult. Read 300 Tang poems by heart, and can memorize them even if you can't write them. Before you know how to write, listen to more works and books.
The evaluation of "good" is too superficial. It can only be said that good works open up readers' horizons - no matter where the readers are physically and mentally limited, after reading, their horizons are broadened, and their thoughts feel like they have sunk into the sea: vast, infinite, and free.
A colorful experience of music and colors, full of collisions of imagination and reality, and teacher Yu Hua's experience of the beauty and absurdity of the world. With my mind wandering, I also read another book called "We Live in a Huge Gap", which was also very interesting. Recommend
This book demonstrates Yu Hua's profound insight into life and unique artistic vision. His prose is both close to reality and full of wisdom and thinking. Some of the memories and experiences in the book are relatable, and his understanding of literature and music is also very enlightening. However, I kind of disliked his sharp criticism of some of the social issues he mentioned in the book, which felt a bit too explicit. Overall, this is a book worth reading that can give us a better understanding of life and literature.
Experience your own life through other people's stories
Like Yu Hua, not like Yu Hua, but Yu Hua
One of my favorite books is "Alive", and I burst into tears after reading it.
The content is really good. After reading it, there are many resonances in my heart. I rarely liked reading novels before, but after reading Yu Hua's novels, I suddenly started to like reading novels. The power of words is huge.
I need to read the music part again and look up related characters and works, but I got the general spiritual core. This book allowed me to see all kinds of rich lives, and I can also feel that Mr. Yu Hua found the answer to the gap in life in his writing.
It's true and objective, and it's eloquent, just like listening to an elder's teachings to you.
The sections about foreign writers and music are suitable for readers who are familiar with those authors and works. People who don't understand it can't see it and will be confused.
This is the first time I read a collection of essays by Teacher Yu Hua. Due to my limited personal knowledge, I couldn't understand the descriptions in many professional fields, but overall it still inspired me a lot. If reading Mr. Yu Hua's novels is like riding a roller coaster with ups and downs, then reading his collection of essays is more like sipping tea with the breeze.
Once you open it, you won't be able to stop. The seemingly simple and ordinary life stories written by the author are instantly brought closer to the readers' hearts through the author's truthful narration. The real and super three-dimensional pictures outline vivid animation scrolls. For example, I wrote a description of taking my three-year-old son on a plane ride. The child's curiosity when he first saw the plane, his fear and panic when he got on the plane, and the child's emotional changes after the plane landed made the reader immersed in the scene. From short stories to novels, the author's writing experience is a journey of life.
I love Yu HuaI love Yu Hua
Reading itself is about everyone expressing their own opinions
No life is a pity. Life is about deciding how you want to live it.
This book tells many stories about the author's childhood, and also contains many descriptions of the author's works and writing styles, as well as some travel experiences.
It feels very broad-minded
Very touching, I read it in one sitting
6. Needless to say, full marks directly
Talk about the author's personal life experiences. I'm so tired. I don't want to write too much.
Life is like this, sometimes sad, sometimes healing. In fact, sometimes I feel that life is also like this, just live every day well.
The description of foreigners in the middle is difficult to read because the author is well-informed, so I skipped it.
I really like Teacher Yu Hua's works, especially "Alive"
Every sentence is related to social life and expresses the aspirations of many people.
I like Yu Hua's frank and sincere personal style, so I like his friendly and natural writing.
