Long ago, the beastfolk and humans on this planet fought endlessly over territory. Then humans created mechanical “Armed Valkyries,” and the balance seemed to tip in their favor. But when humans and beastfolk discovered the Valkyries' flaws, the two races joined forces to hunt them down. Afterward, humans and beastfolk began working together, forming a peacekeeping force to eliminate the remaining Armed Valkyries that had not been recovered and deal with the planet's many other problems.
