Twelve-year-old Maisika is her father's beloved little princess. Though her family is not wealthy, her father gives her all his love.
When she is little, a nanny's moment of carelessness leads to her being abducted by human traffickers from a mall basement. Another little boy is there at the time. After receiving a call from the traffickers, her father goes to ransom her, but an accident occurs as they try to escape, and he is shot in the head on the spot. Afterward, Maisika develops trauma responses and sleep problems. The boy, consumed by guilt, stops speaking altogether. Though they had never known each other before, the incident binds them together forever. His family sends him abroad for treatment, while Maisika goes overseas to study with her aunt's support. They lose touch from then on.
Years later, Maisika returns home after graduating. Having let go of everything, she settles in a city where flowers bloom in every season and greenery lasts all year, and opens a counseling practice. Their story is only just beginning.
