Sailing Far Away to You

Whenever people in the Chinese entertainment industry mention Shen Zhihang, they can’t help sighing: What a waste. He debuted in a top Korean boy band, then returned to the Chinese scene out of spite, only to remain under Li Kong’s shadow. Little do they know that Shen Zhihang has long been the one seated at the head of the table in a private dining room at an upscale Beijing restaurant. * When a male star who’s sworn off marriage and focused on making money falls for a bold, easygoing Beijing girl, a love volcano that’s been building up for years erupts in an instant. * Back when they barely knew each other, Shen Zhihang pulled out a stack of cash to pay the bill. Xiang Jiue’en: Wow, are you evading taxes or something? Shen Zhihang: Get lost! Don’t you think fresh cash smells amazing? Xiang Jiue’en: …How long have you been broke? Shen Zhihang: Probably not as long as you have. Xiang Jiue’en: Get lost! * Later, after quitting her job and leaving her hometown, Miss Xiang Jiue’en received a WeChat message from Shen Zhihang at the capital’s airport. Shen Zhihang: Need a travel companion? I can carry your bags and pay you, too. Xiang Jiue’en: How many kilos can you carry? How much will you pay? Shen Zhihang: Wait, you’re serious? Xiang Jiue’en: So you didn’t mean it? Shen Zhihang: Check your bank account.
