When my grandfather was young, he was a man of great ability. His defiance of fate brought down retribution, and to leave the Li family an heir, he borrowed a woman, a weasel spirit, to bear a child. He also arranged a mysterious marriage for me. To free me from this karmic debt, he sacrificed his cultivation and his life, breaking with the weasel spirit.
