All Is Well 2: Daughter, I Won't Give Up on You Again

First, let me make one thing clear: this is not a sequel to the great A Nai’s All Is Well. It’s a completely new story, featuring two female leads.

Su Mingjuan, deeply wounded by her family of origin, once placed all her hopes in what she believed was a perfect love. But reality dealt her a devastating blow. The man who had sworn to protect her for the rest of her life ultimately betrayed her. Completely shattered by love, Su Mingjuan became cold and ruthless, determined to live only for herself, and cruelly abandoned her newborn daughter... Years later, Su Mingjuan finally made something of herself and returned in triumph, having changed her name to Shi Zhongxue. She was determined to sever all ties with her past. But when she reunited with the daughter she had once abandoned, she discovered that she couldn’t let go of all her feelings after all. Softening, she took her daughter back, but that brought new troubles in its wake. Now in middle age, Shi Zhongxue must face a new set of crises: her boss’s distrust and wariness, renewed harassment from her family of origin, and her daughter’s sudden discovery of the truth about her birth, which sends her into rebellion at an early age... How will Shi Zhongxue get through these new challenges in life?
